Journalism Job Openings: The January List

Happy 2024! Let’s start this year by focusing on pushing forward in this profession that faces more challenges. Yes, we saw many jobs disappear in 2023, but do we ever roll over and die as journalists? No.

I started the #CallingAllJournalists Initiative last year because I am about creating opportunities. And with my vast network of journalists, creating a monthly job list under this Initiative was a no-brainer. Journalists are willing to help other journalists.

If you are reading this blog/newsletter looking for a job, could you pay it forward? Find a job you are not interested in, and let me know about the opening via social media.

And for those comfortable in a job right now, always be prepared for the unexpected. I learned early in my career to be ready for the job to go away, and that’s why I’m still standing today.

Just a reminder: I update this job list once a month. Check back. Also, look at the list I published in December. Some of the jobs on that list could still be available. Good luck!

JOBS! JOBS! JOBS!

    My deadline is this week.
    Thanks.
