Television News

I spent 28 years in television news, and I loved it. Don’t get me wrong, there were some crazy and toxic bosses. But most of them are long gone, and I’m still standing. I covered many notable assignments, interviewed exciting people, some famous, but most not, and was where history happened.

TV news is a great career, but you must know you don’t have banker hours, miss many Christmas holidays with your family, and often the pay could be better if you can negotiate a good contract. But I hope I can inspire you to stick with it if you feel it’s time to move on.

MSNBC: GUEST COMMENTATOR

I was a guest on MSNBC after President Trump kicked Univision anchor Jorge Ramos out of a press conference.

TELEVISION COMMENTATOR ON THE TEXAS DAILY
I was nominated for a Lone Star Emmy for my work on this show where we talked about trends and hot topics.

INVESTIGATION: HEY MR. MAILMAN

This was a six-month investigation where I found registered sex offenders delivering the mail. The U.S. Postal Service changed its employment policies because of my report. It was also featured on Fox News.
